EU Cities Gateway Webinar: Why cooperation matters – A practical storytelling matters

Why do some cooperation stories stay with us, while others are quickly forgotten? This interactive EU Cities Gateway webinar explores how storytelling can help cities communicate their work in a way that is clear, engaging and meaningful to different audiences.

Taking place on 5 October 2026 from 17:00–18:30 CEST, the session will combine practical storytelling guidance with real experiences from transatlantic city cooperation. Speakers will share the successes, challenges, unexpected turns and lessons that have shaped their cooperation journeys — showing how even difficult moments can become part of a strong and useful story.

Participants will leave with simple approaches they can apply to their own projects and communications, as well as inspiration from city-to-city cooperation across Europe and North America.

The webinar is open to the EU Cities Gateway Community and partners and will include time for questions and exchange with participants.
