Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 Barcelona

EU Cities Gateway will participate in the Smart City Expo World Congress 2026 (SCEWC26) in Barcelona, one of the world’s leading events for cities and urban innovation.

Taking place from 3 - 5 November 2026 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, SCEWC26 will bring together cities, governments, businesses, experts and innovators from around the world to explore solutions to some of today’s most pressing urban challenges, from digital transformation and responsible AI to sustainable mobility, energy, housing, governance and inclusive urban development.

In parallel with the Congress, EU Cities Gateway will organise an International Event and Advanced Study Mission during the first week of November. The programme will bring together EU Cites Gateway cities and delegates to continue discussions within the thematic clusters, identify concrete opportunities for collaboration and explore synergies across the wider EU Cities Gateway network.

The programme will combine opportunities to engage with the global urban innovation community at Smart City Expo with dedicated EUCG exchanges and activities.
